God is Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit is a person
He is a real Person, some may think that he is a person or an influence or just a power. He is not an impersonal force. He is personal being. We will see it from scriptures.
Jesus called him Comforter: We can’t call a force Comforter. The very name given Him by the Lord definitely implies personality John 14:26

These are the things some are attributed to an emotion and emotion belongs to a personality and others are all functionalities of a person
What sort of a person he is? He is a Divine Person
He is equal to power and glory to the Father and Son. If he is God, he is to be equally worshipped as the Father and he is revealed as the one who has the same attributes belonging to God.

Rom 8:13 for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

He leads a Believer

He intercedes
Rom 8:26-27 In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for {us} with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to {the will of} God.
